Try to do the Illustration Academy assignments, or at least the idea-making and thumbnail part of it. Experiment, try something new, push yourself. Also use this time to catch up on old projects if you want!

Looks really nice Cat, I like the composition. The cello looks awesome, I sympathize with you about the difficulty of drawing them.
I like the drawing. Your web site is much better than the last...definitely more professional. Good job! Though it took me a while to notice the info about each image.... I don't know if that's a problem. I hope you don't mind the honesty.
definitely appreciate honesty - if I just wanted praise I would show it to my boyfriend who thinks everything I touch turns to gold :) Do you think making the description text bigger would help, or is it the location that is bad? I stole the format (sort of) from Natalie Ascencios and I figure she must be doing something right :)
I love the new website too! I think if you make the font bigger, and maybe make the titles in white or something so they stand out more. I love the title for the cig in sandwich piece :)
P.S. I think think the comp looks great...very active.
(I already tried to post this comment once, so if it comes up twice on the blog, so sorry, this computer's acting squirrely)
