Scanner??
Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a scanner to buy. My parent's want to get me one for my b-day coming up. I've been trying to find one with a large scanning window thing...but most of them are 8x10's. Remember I have a PC (Blah, I know....but it's what we've got). Any suggestions???

I got an Epson 3490 - it was 99 bucks at Best Buy and for 10 bucks you get a 2 year warranty. The warranty means that within 2 years, you can take your scanner back to best buy and get a replacement (read: upgrade).
It doesn't have the large screen but the Merging thing in photoshop worked really well.
I have the same scanner. Works just fine, though I haven't scanned artwork yet.
