Sunflowers




Here are the two sunflower shadow boxes I just finished. I actually really enjoyed painting these flowers, which was unexpected. It really gives you freedom to mess with paint. I also have really enjoyed working with the wood to make the boxes themselves.... though it's pretty hard for me still, I don't know what I'm doing most of the time.

These look great Sarah! It's so much fun to do three-dimensional stuff. The cardboard radio you made over the summer is still sitting on the counter in the studio.

Wow, these are really cool. The flowers look so lifelike but at the same time it's so well designed and composed. The color use is really great. Are you going to make more of these and sell them at a show?
