HOW TO FEEL MISERABLE AS AN ARTIST
- Constantly compare yourself to other artists.
- Talk to your family about what you do and expect them to cheer you on.
- Base the success of your entire career on one project.
- Stick with what you know.
- Undervalue your expertise
- Let money dictate what you do.
- Bow to Societal Pressures.
- Only do work that your family would love.
- Do whatever the client/customer/gallery owner/patron/investor asks.
- Set unachievable/overwhelming goals. To be accomplished by tomorrow.

Sarah!!! I love how cohesive your work is. The figure's stance and expression are really captivating, I can't stop looking at it. What are the dimensions? I also want to know how you construct these, it looks absolutely professional!
LOVE IT. I would totally buy one of your pieces, and a lot of other women would feel the same way. Once I save up some cash I will buy one from you.
Yeah Sarah, you are totally rocking it!! I think you have found your soul's expresson.
Thanks guys! I'm really enjoying making these too. I'm making a quilt to go along with them, each square is going to represent each different painting...I thought it might look cool in the background at my booth when I do the art shows (hopefully!!) This summer I'm going to make giclee prints of all of them, (they told me they can print things up to 4" deep).
Heather, the dimensions on this one are 27" x 30". I'll draw out a diagram on how to construct them when I see you in the NY, I'm better at explaining things visually.
Thanks again for the encouraging comments!
LOVE IT!!!!
